CE is one church with many experiences! We want to maximize the strength of unique local ministry (“many experiences”) while also experiencing the benefits, efficiency, and impact of being part of a larger church (“one church”). CE is a marriage of both unity and diversity. We are committed to and enjoy being “one church” long term while also being committed to the variety of “many experiences” within the vision God gave us outlined in these CE Essentials!
Church Experience is led by our Senior Pastors (Brandon & Jennifer Bruce) and one shared Senior Leadership Team, governed by one Board of Directors, is organized under one 501c3 organization, has one shared budget, and one shared online presence (website & social media). Yet, each campus has their own Lead Pastor (preacher/local leader), local Leadership Team, unique Life Groups, unique local outreach, in-person worship team, and more. Each CE location also benefits from our collective resources, support, and experience to go further and faster than when alone! We enjoy the collaboration, creativity, and strength of practically, legally, and theologically being one church as we, “rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn” (Romans 12:15).
Church Experience is not a network, association, denomination, or merely a partnership. We are truly “one church” and we are better together! We are also not a collection of satellite campuses or venues that stream every weekend message from a broadcast church and expect exact duplication in every single area. We have at least 70% live local preaching and lots of creativity from location to location while always maintaining the visual look, culture, beliefs, budget, leaders, and shared systems associated with being “one church”.
We are very committed to the long-term vision God has given us to be “one church with many experiences.” We have a unique and beautiful model for ministry that offers support, training, and community, while also providing high levels of creativity and flexibility at each campus. Together, we get to make a collective impact in a much larger way than any one of us would alone. We each contribute our strengths to the CE campus we’ve been asked to lead, but also for the benefit of our whole church. We are passionate about our mission of helping more people experience a full life in Jesus Christ and dream about a vast collective Kingdom impact nationally and internationally!
